Stark Varg MX 1.2 — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Stark Varg MX Standard and Alpha?
The Standard produces up to 60 HP; the Alpha steps up to 80 HP and adds roughly 33% more battery capacity, updated wiring, a new inverter and a new motor. Both share the 7.2 kWh-class platform, KYB suspension and Brembo brakes.
Is the Stark Varg MX street legal?
No. The Varg MX is a closed-course motocross bike with no lights or mirrors and no street-legal path. If you need road legality, look at the Varg EX enduro or the Varg SM supermoto, and confirm your state DMV requirements with us first.
Can a Stark Varg MX be turned down for a less experienced rider?
Yes. Output is configurable from the onboard display, so the bike can be dialled well below its peak for training or for a lighter rider. It is still a full-size race machine at 242 lb, so it is not a first dirt bike.
