The range runs 12eDRIVE through 20eDRIVE, covering roughly ages 3 to 10, and every model uses the same quick-swap 20V battery with three power modes. A spare battery is the single best accessory you can buy — it doubles ride time and ends the session on your terms, not the battery’s.

What age is the STACYC 12eDRIVE for?
The 12eDRIVE suits children roughly 3 to 5 years old. At around 17 lb with a low seat height and three power modes topping out near 7.5 mph, it lets a young child learn balance and throttle control safely with adult supervision.
What is the difference between the STACYC 12, 16, 18 and 20?
They step up in wheel size, seat height and speed: 12eDRIVE for ages 3–5 (~7.5 mph), 16eDRIVE for 4–7 with a brushless motor (~9 mph), 18eDRIVE for 5–8 (13 mph) and 20eDRIVE for 6–10 (17 mph). Pick by the rider’s size and confidence, not just age.
Does a STACYC have a speed limiter?
Yes. Every STACYC has three selectable power modes, so a parent can limit speed for a first-time rider and open it up as the child progresses. This is what lets one bike stay useful across a couple of years rather than a single season.
Can you use Milwaukee batteries on a STACYC?
Aftermarket adapters for Milwaukee M18, DeWalt 20V and Makita 18V packs exist at around $75–$80. Be aware that they void the STACYC manufacturer warranty on electrical components, are limited to 5Ah batteries, and are not official STACYC products.
