Altis Sigma — Frequently Asked Questions
How fast is the Altis Sigma?
The Sigma reaches 70–80+ mph depending on variant, gearing and rider weight, from a 98V/35Ah Samsung 50S pack and 22–25 kW output. That is faster than most bikes at twice the price, and it demands genuine off-road experience to use safely.
What is the difference between the Sigma and the Sigma MX?
The mechanicals are shared; the wheels differ. The Standard runs 19" front and rear for stability and a smoother ride, while the Sigma MX pairs a 19" front with a 16" rear for a motocross stance and harder drive out of corners. The MX is $200 more.
Is the Altis Sigma street legal?
No. The Sigma is sold for off-road, private-land and OHV use only and is not street legal without specific state certification and registration. California riders should follow green-sticker / OHV rules under Vehicle Code Section 436.1.
