Electric Dirt Bike Transport & Storage
Getting the bike to the trail and storing it safely between rides: tie-down straps, aluminium loading ramps, waterproof covers and — important for lithium bikes — fireproof battery storage bags. These are the unglamorous purchases that prevent a damaged bike or a garage fire, so they are worth doing properly.

Transport & Storage — Frequently Asked Questions
How do I transport an electric dirt bike safely?
Load it up an aluminium ramp into a truck or trailer and secure it with four tie-down straps, compressing the front suspension slightly so it cannot bounce loose. Never rely on a single strap or the side stand — a bike shifting in transit damages itself and the vehicle.
How should I store a lithium battery?
Store the pack at a partial charge (not full, not flat), somewhere cool and dry, ideally in a fireproof LiPo storage bag. Lithium packs are very safe in normal use, but a damaged pack is a fire risk, and a storage bag contains that risk for around $19–$49.
Do I need a cover if the bike lives in a garage?
It helps. A cover keeps dust off the bike, protects the seat and plastics from UV through a window, and discourages casual theft. A waterproof cover is essential if the bike lives outdoors or under a carport, from around $29.
